Please read these instructions before your first use — it takes 2 minutes and makes all the difference!
Safety — check before anything else
⚡ Check that the pump is running before lighting the fire. It circulates the water and runs automatically from noon to midnight. Red dot only = pump on standby (press the power button twice to restart it). A number displayed = pump running, nothing to do. Screen off = check the physical switch in the technical shed.
🔥 The stove and tub get very hot: never touch the stove wall or pipes with bare hands, keep children at a distance and supervise them at all times.
🌡️ Check the temperature before entering: ideally between 36°C and 40°C. Pregnant women and people with heart conditions: consult your doctor before use.
🕚 Use until 11:00 p.m. maximum, to preserve the neighbourhood’s peace and quiet.
🚫 The water inlet/outlet valves must stay open — never touch them. The water must always fully cover the internal nozzles.
🍷 Please drink responsibly in and around the bath.

Hygiene
Shower required before AND after use, with no soap, shampoo or oil in the water. Foot bath required before entering. A net is available to remove debris (leaves, dust) if needed. A chlorine tablet dispenser keeps the water clean at all times — do not remove it. Water quality is checked regularly and fully renewed every 4 to 6 weeks. Guests allergic to chlorine are advised not to use the bath.

Supplies
At the back of the structure: dry kindling, firelighting paper, firelighters and a complete starter kit (including a refractory log — do not burn it first). Extra logs are stored in the compartment next to the bath.
Lighting the fire, step by step
1. Prepare the firebox — crumple paper at the bottom of the stove, add firelighters and kindling on top.
2. Light it — use a lighter, let the fire take hold before adding anything else.
3. Add logs — once you have good embers, add logs gradually (above and below the grate).
4. Keep the fire going — come back every 25 minutes to add wood and check the temperature; put the lid back on to speed up the heating.
Expect roughly +6°C per hour, i.e. 2 to 2.5 hours to reach 36-40°C (varies by season). The bath becomes pleasant from 32°C — stop feeding the fire once it reaches 36°C.

After use
Remove debris with the net and empty it · empty the tub using the bucket provided · put the lid back on properly · let the fire go out naturally (never put it out with water) · empty the COLD ashes only, using the ash shovel, onto the pile at the bottom of the garden · shower after use.
